How do I register?


By registering with GiveCentral, you are creating an online profile that you can use to make donations in the future. Your credit card or checking account information will be securely saved so you can access it at any time, and you'll be able to use one account to donate to multiple organizations so all of your giving is in one place.

To register, just start setting up a donation to your favorite charity with GiveCentral. Here's how to sign up:

1. Find your favorite charity

First, visit and click "Find Your Charity." 


Search for the name of your favorite charity by entering it into the search box. (Hint to churches: sometimes leaving off the "Saint" at the beginning helps get better results!)

Scroll down to view the search results, and click the name or image of the organization you'd like to donate to.


You'll be taken to that organization's "home" giving page, with their top four giving opportunities. Click the orange "View More" button to see a list of all events. 


If your charity has lots of different giving opportunities, they may be divided into Categories. You can view the events in these Categories by clicking the links on the left (circled in orange in the screenshot below).

If you prefer to view a list rather than tiled images, you may toggle the option near the upper right of the screen (noted with an orange arrow).


2. Select your donation

Click on the fund you'd like to donate to, and fill out the information requested. The options will vary depending on what your charity has made available.

For a regular (not a pledge), recurring donation, you'll be asked for the following information:


This is the amount you'd like to give each week, month, year, et cetera. For example, if you'd like to give $25 each week, enter $25 here.

First Payment Date

You can schedule your donations to begin on any date in the future, or have them start immediately. If you do not choose a future date, the "default" is the current date and your first donation will be processed today.

Recurring gifts will occur based on the First Payment Date. This means that weekly donations set up to begin on a Tuesday will happen every Tuesday, monthly donations scheduled to begin on the 25th will be processed on the 25th of each month, and so on. You can set your Sunday offering to happen every Sunday, just choose the next available Sunday from the date-picker.

This also lets you plan for the future; for example, if you'd like to set up your Christmas donation in June, you can do that! Just set the date for December 25 and your gift will automatically be made on Christmas Day.


Do you want to make your donations weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually? Your chosen charity will have determined the frequency options that are available to you. For example, a church may allow you to make your Sunday donation on a weekly or monthly basis, but provide only an Annual option for special occasions like Easter and Christmas.

End Date Type

You can make an ongoing gift that never expires, or set a specific date on which you'd like to stop making this donation. Some people prefer to "set it and forget it," while others like to review their giving on a yearly basis. Your giving pattern is entirely up to you, and can be modified at any time.

Now that you've made your selections, click "Add to My Gift Basket." Your Gift Basket will store your donations like in an online shopping cart until you are ready to "Checkout." If you'd like to make additional donations to your charity, you can do so all at once rather than completing the process multiple times.

When you're ready, click "My Gift Basket" in the upper-right corner of your screen. This will show you a summary of the gifts you have selected. Take a moment to review everything to make sure the details are correct, and click "Continue."

3. Confirm My Gift

Here is where you will complete your GiveCentral profile and register. On the My Gift Basket page, verify your the information is correct, and then click Continue. On the next page, click the "Complete Profile" button on the right side of the screen, under "Sign Up."


Then, just complete the form as you would for any other online profile. Please note that your address should match the billing address on your credit card or bank statement to make sure your gifts are processed correctly.

Click "Register and confirm gift" to complete your profile.

4. You're registered! 

Take a moment to look around your profile, make sure you've entered everything correctly, and check out all the features. Remember the username and password you've selected so you can log in to adjust your giving at any time.
